Creating Well-Formatted File Notes in Claras
- Review and Edit the Generated Note
- After Claras processes your transcript, review the generated file note.
- Make any necessary edits or additions to ensure it's well formatted and captures key information such as:
- Meeting date and time
- Attendees
- Key discussion points
- Action items and next steps
- Double-Check Required Items
- If Claras has given you a heads up on missing items, update the file note.
- Pro-tip: Use the Regenerate email button to create a client email using the updated information in the file note.
Transferring File Notes from Claras to Xplan
- Copy the HTML file note
- Once your file note is finalised, click the arrow on the Copy to clipboard button at the bottom of the page.
- Select the HTML option to copy the formatted version to your clipboard.
- Open Xplan
- Log in to your Xplan account.
- Navigate to the appropriate client section where you want to add the note.
- Create a New Document Note
- Click on "Add Document Note" in Xplan.
- In the Xplan editor, click on the "Source" button.
- This will switch the editor to HTML source mode.
- Paste HTML from Claras
- In the source mode window, right-click and select "Paste" or use the keyboard shortcut Ctrl + V (Windows) or Cmd + V (Mac).
- This action will paste the HTML code you copied from Claras into the Xplan editor.
- Review and Save Your Note
- Exit source mode to view the formatted note.
