FAQs
What information does Claras reference when regenerating a section?
When regenerating content, Claras uses:
- The original meeting transcript
- Your complete file note
- The selected text and surrounding context
- Your file note template structure
- Meeting details (date, location, etc.)
- Client and adviser information
- Any additional notes you provided during the meeting
This comprehensive view helps ensure the regenerated content:
- Maintains accuracy and context
- Aligns with your template format
- References relevant meeting details
- Preserves redacted information appropriately
How can I add completely new content to my file note?
To add a new section:
- Type a brief placeholder where you want the new content
- Select your placeholder text
- Click "Regenerate" and provide instructions for what you want to cover
For example:
- Type: "Insurance recommendations"
- Select this text and click "Regenerate"
- Add instructions: "Create a detailed section covering our insurance discussion, including the client's current policies, identified gaps in coverage, and recommended changes to their life and income protection insurance. Include specific figures discussed."
This helps Claras understand both where to place the new content and what information you need included. Claras will reference the meeting transcript and context to generate an appropriate new section.
Your regenerated content will maintain the same style and formatting as your existing file note while incorporating the new information you've requested.
What if I'm not happy with the regenerated content?
You have several options:
- Click "Edit Instructions" to modify your instructions and try again
- Use "Discard" to keep your original content
- "Insert" the new version and edit it manually
- Try regenerating with more specific instructions
Is there a limit to how much I can regenerate?
- No, however for optimal performance we recommend selecting up to a few paragraphs. Claras will produce higher quality and quicker results when the task is focused on one area at a time.
- If you need to change the entire file note at once, consider updating your file note template instead. You can:
- Customise your existing template under "Templates"
- Create a new template tailored to your needs
- Contact support for help optimising your templates
Will regenerating content affect sensitive information?
No. Claras automatically:
- Maintains all existing PII redactions
- Preserves compliance-sensitive content
- Keeps client identifiers secure
